Logo & Branding for a crafting company
Tess is a new independent creator making beautiful hand crafted items for sale in local markets and eventually wants to grow her online presence and expand the business. I am helped by designing a fresh new logo.
Inspiration and Ideas
The products are mainly hand crafted coasters with beautiful mix and match patterns. I loved the idea of something that looked hand made and had a mandala type feel to it. I wanted to emulate a daffodil by creating a flower within a flower.
Sketching
I began by looking at the flower and creating hand drawn petals for a more natural shape then finished it in Illustrator. The colour yellow was prominent from the daffodil idea but I wanted to add more colours to make it playful and approachable.
